Academic Salon: “Celebrating the 20th CPC National Congress and the Powerful Country has Me”

On April 22th, in the series of activities of "Reading Classics, Remembering the Original Heart and Feeling the Essence ", the young teachers’ academic salon, which named “Celebrating the 20th CPC National Congress and the Powerful Country has Me “, was successfully held by the College of Marxism in Room 615, District 2 of Liberal Arts Building, Jiang'an Campus, Sichuan University. Teachers who attended this academic salon activities were Comrade Li Shuanjiu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, Comrade Li Jianhua, Vice President of the College, Comrade He Yixin, Chairman of the Labor Union, and more than 10 young teachers from the College of Marxism, the College of Literature and Journalism, the School of Public Administration, the School of International Studies and other colleges. The salon activities were presided over by Comrade Shi Lichun, a young teacher of the college.

 

Comrade Li Shuojiu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, said that the college has always attached great importance to the career growth and academic cultivation of young teachers, and hoped that everyone can share and exchange new research achievement and inspire new ideas for scientific research, through the holding of the academic salon that provide a good platform for academic exchanges for young teachers.

 

Mr. Han Jianghua, the teacher from the College of Literature and Journalism, first shared and demonstrated with the topic of "Research on Ideographic Ancient Writing of the Dongtai Language Ethnic: Content and Path". Then, other participating teachers shared their academics with each other, they were Ms. Lu Rong of the College of Marxism on "The 'Audience Commodity Theory' in the Platform Economy", Ms. Cao Yang of the College of Public Administration on "Social Governance and Health Services for the Elderly", Ms. Du Fang of the School of International Studies on "Knowledge Mapping of Rural Vitalization Research at Home and Abroad", Mr. Zhang Xuechang of the College of Marxism on "The Cultural Discourse of Marx and Engels", Mr. Chen Jiafei of the College of Marxism On "Research Methods of Marxist Disciplines", and Mr. Shi Lichun of the College of Marxism on "External Attribution of Inequality and Threat Perception and Western Right Group Populism". 

Through warm exchanges, the teachers inspired each other and promoted the collision and integration of academic ideas in multi-field and multidisciplinary.
