The Third Chinese Culture and Language course of the UIP International Exchange Program held

In order to further deepen the cultural and linguistic exchanges between Chinese andinternationalstudents, the third Chinese culture and language course oftheUIP International ExchangeProgramoftheMarxismSchoolwas successfully held in classroom 150,No.3teaching buildingonWangjiang campusinthe morning of July 9. Chinese andinternational members ofthe programparticipated in this course, which was presided over byMs.Zhang Shanshan, teacher ofthe School ofMarxism.

This coursefocused on sharing. Theinternational members introducedthegeography, culture, economy, language, beautiful scenery, food and religious beliefsof their homecountryrespectively, showing the unique culture and differences of each country. Chinese studentsintroduced Chinese cuisines, performed Chinese brush calligraphy, played Chinese classical musical instruments, playedroles infolk customsin combination with their respective hometown, andpresented Chinese seal-carving technique, showing the rich and profound Chinese culture. At last, Chinese students taught foreignmembers calligraphy and seal-carving on the spot to completeawonderfulpiecetogether.

Through this course, Chinese students havegaineda better understanding of the unique culture of the United States, Uruguay, Argentina and other countries. Foreignmembers have also appreciatedthe charm of Chinese calligraphy, musical instruments, clothing and diet. They also createdthe first calligraphy work in their life, and experienced the ancient Chinese clothingstyles.
